NC-31 Solar Farm Generates 67,312 SRECs in First Year

The 43 Megawatt solar farm in Bladen, North Carolina celebrated its one-year anniversary of operation on January 30th. Over the 12-month period, it generated 67,312 Megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean solar electricity - enough to power nearly 5,000 homes in North Carolina.  It avoided CO2 emissions equivalent to removing 6,000 cars from the road.

Each Megawatt-hour of solar electricity produces one Solar Renewable Energy Certificate (SREC), which can be purchased by anyone who wants to offset the carbon emissions of their electricity usage.  Learn more at www.vivorex.com.
